John Wiech was a friend to many and a longtime supporter of the construction industry. For years, John chaired the Niagara Frontier Chapter’s scholarship committee. John took this position seriously and was committed to making scholarships a meaningful part of our chapter. Because of John’s commitment, the Niagara Frontier Chapter board of directors thought it appropriate to name its scholarship after John and to call it the John A. Wiech Memorial Scholarship. We hope that this is a fitting legacy for a man who devoted much of his time to the construction industry and to CFMA.

Each year, the Niagara Frontier Chapter awards one to two scholarships to students currently enrolled in a university or college program leading to an associate, baccalaureate, or master’s degree.
